Scaparone family papers, 1671-1933.

Include three letters, 1915-1927, to Mary Cloys Scaparone, from American actor and film star Bruce McRae, with related clippings, documenting his work on the stage and in the movies; letters to Dr. Gian Giacomo Scaparone from Italian diplomat Ferdinando Daneo re politics in Italy during and after World War I, from A. Giavolta describing his eleven day journey across Russia to his post in Tientsin, China in 1925, with information on politics and economic conditions, and from Italian journalist Luciano Magrini. With these, family documents from Italy, 1671-1811, centering around Montechiaro and Alba in the Piemonte region from which the family originated.
